General information about CPD

CPD What is?

CPD short for Continuing Professional Development or "Continuing Professional Development". Accountants and auditors holding a professional certificate must keep learning after qualifying, to keep their knowledge and skills up to date with changing accounting standards, tax law and technology.

How CPD hours are tracked in this system

Register as a member
wait for Admin to approve the account (if the system is set to manual approval).
Register for a course
Choose a course that is open for registration, then wait for approval.
Attend and complete
The organizer confirms attendance; the system adds the hours and issues the certificate automatically.
Record off-system activities
Attach evidence (certificate/photo), then wait for Admin to review.
Print the annual report
Check your progress on the Dashboard and print the report to submit to the Association.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if the hours are not completed?You may receive a warning letter and be given time to make up the hours, or it may affect license renewal, according to the Association's regulations.
How long should evidence be kept?We recommend at least 3–5 years, as records may be randomly audited.
Do activities attended outside the system count?Yes, if they relate to accounting work and evidence is attached and approved by Admin.

Note: the minimum figures in the system can be adjusted on the Admin settings page to match the Association's actual requirements.
